Yes. All products are handcrafted in our workshop in Ciechanów. Each piece is individually planned and sewn, as each upholstery piece is unique in shape and size. There’s no mass-cutting from a template.

Yes. Each bag is made from a unique piece of fabric—once it’s gone from the store, it won’t be returned. The upholstery comes to us in random pieces, so no one model can be replicated exactly the same. This isn’t a limitation—it’s a feature appreciated by those seeking something truly unique.

Made from upholstery fabrics—specifically, from scraps that furniture factories and upholsterers discard as too small for further production. These are new, unused pieces—not second-hand, not old sofas. Velvet, corduroy, bouclé, thick braids. Fabrics designed to last decades on a sofa, now in the form of a bag.

Scoiattolo products are not toys. Models containing small parts (zippers, snaps, metal fittings) are not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Adult supervision is recommended when used by children.

The inner lining is waterproof, protecting the contents from accidental splashes or rain. The outer upholstery fabric is moisture-resistant, but the products are not intended for intensive contact with water or machine washing.

For everyday stains, a damp cloth is sufficient. If a more thorough cleaning is required:

• Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
• Dry horizontally at room temperature
• No tumble dryer – may damage fabric and shape
• No ironing

Minor differences in weave or shade are not a defect—they are proof that you have a genuine, hand-sewn piece in your hands, not a mass-produced copy.

New. Upholstery offcuts are fabric fragments that furniture factories discard because they are too small for further production—but have never been used before. These are not second-hand or old sofas. Hygienically impeccable, they are of identical quality to the material used to make new furniture. For everyday use – yes. The shopper bags can support up to 9 kg, which is enough to comfortably hold a laptop, documents, a cosmetics bag, and groceries from the market. We don’t recommend overloading them – seams and fittings have their limits, even in upholstery fabric.
