Honey corduroy women’s backpack
This honey-colored corduroy backpack features a warm, yellow-brown hue that’s impossible to replicate with dye. The corduroy has a thick ribbed pattern, so the color changes depth depending on how the light hits it.
The material is upholstery offcuts from a furniture factory, saved from being thrown away. We sewed the backpack in Ciechanów, in one copy.
Dimensions: 34 x 27 cm without bottle pocket. Inside there is a waterproof lining, five pockets, two drink holders and stroller hooks.

Honey corduroy backpack from the second life of the fabric
Corduroy is back in fashion, but this particular fabric was never intended for clothing. It’s an upholstery fabric, made for furniture that’s meant to withstand years of sitting. This is evident in this backpack from day one.
What is it made of?
The outer fabric is a thick, honey-colored corduroy, a byproduct of furniture production. The ribbed pattern is distinct and thick to the touch, and the material has a weight you won’t find in apparel corduroy.
The lining is new and waterproof. The zippers, webbing, and hardware are also new. The fabric is recycled, not the rest.
What’s in it?
Dimensions are 34 x 27 cm without bottle pocket.
The main compartment holds everything you need for the day, and three pockets keep things organized: one zippered and two slip pockets.
There’s a zippered pocket on the front for things you want to have close at hand. On the back, another zippered pocket fits snugly against your back. This is where you keep your documents and phone in crowded spaces.
Two side drink holders remove the bottle from the main compartment. It can be carried by the handle or on your back with adjustable straps.
For whom?
Honey is a color that enlivens autumnal ensembles based on gray, brown, and navy. It works well for someone who likes one bold accent and the rest subdued.
Practical: to university, to work, for a stroller stroll. The clips allow you to attach the backpack to your handle instead of carrying it on your shoulder for hours.
How to care
Corduroy likes to be dusted with a soft brush along the rib. Spot-tree stains can be removed with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Hand wash only, in lukewarm water, and dry flat. Do not tumble dry or iron, as this will flatten the rib.
Frequently asked questions
Is the backpack waterproof?
The inner lining is waterproof. The corduroy upholstery handles moisture and drizzle well, but in prolonged rain, it will soak through like any fabric.
Will I get another one just like it?
No. This cut is already finished, and each subsequent one has a different shade and stripe pattern. We can suggest something from a similar palette: scoiattolo.biuro@gmail.com
Does corduroy wear out at the corners?
Upholstery fabrics are tested for abrasion resistance and perform significantly better than clothing materials. With daily wear, the ribbed pattern will smooth out slightly over time in the areas of most frequent contact, which is natural for this weave.
